captivated by the sounds and rhythms of the recordings, and an intensive passion to learn guitar quickly materialized.
Michel studied classical guitar at Malleusis Conservatory in Vigo, and Conservatorio Profesional de Musica de Santiago de Compostela. He took master classes with Pat Metheny, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Jorge Pardo, and Barry Harris, and earned his professional diploma at Estudio Escola de Musica. Michel was subsequently awarded a scholarship from A.I.E (Society of Artists and Performances of Spain), and went on to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Professional Music.
Michel's musicianship and versatility have earned him opportunities to perform in numerous countries, sharing the stage with internationally-recognized artists such as Oscar Stagnaro, Mark Walker, Marta Gomez, Chino Nunez, Luisito Quintero, and Marcus Santos, among others.
